Powers of Attorney & Guardianship Appointment

An Enduring Power of Attorney (for banking and business matters) and an Enduring Guardianship (for lifestyle and medical matters) can be given to a trusted person to cover the administration of your affairs, for example during a  hospital stay or trip overseas, or if you were to suffer physical or mental incapacity in the future. This ensures peace of mind, in the knowledge that you have put your affairs in order to cover any future eventualities.

Such circumstances often arise without warning, and without those documents it could become necessary for your next of kin or carer to apply to the Guardianship Tribunal to arrange management of your affairs and most people would prefer to have someone of their own choice handle matters for them in the case of incapacity, whether permanent or temporary.

You may also wish to consider making a “Living Will” specifying precisely your wishes in relation to medical treatment.

Don’t put it off – you are welcome to telephone us to discuss what is involved in appointing an attorney and enduring guardian or signing a “Living Will”.

We offer special Seniors Card rates for Powers of Attorney and Guardianship Appointments and we invite you to phone or email us to discuss your requirements.
